U18 & Senior Pathway

The Under 18 and Senior pathway connects Darebin United’s junior program with senior football. The Under 18 squad targets 20 players so selected players can also experience Reserves football. The Reserves pathway is designed around Under 23 players, supported by up to four overage players who can also compete for Senior selection. The Senior contracted squad is capped at 18 players. This structure creates clearer opportunities for developing players while maintaining competition for places. The December 2026 commencement date will be published once the club confirms whether the intended date is Monday 7 December or Tuesday 8 December.
