Volunteers make community football possible. Whether you can help once, occasionally or throughout the season, Darebin United will help match your time and skills with a clearly defined role.

Get involved in a way that works for you

You do not need to be a football expert. We need reliable people with many different skills, and registering interest does not commit you to accepting a role.

Ways you can help

Football and teams

Coaching support, team management, team officials and player coordination.

Match day

Ground setup, canteen, welcoming teams, equipment and pack-down.

Events and fundraising

Club events, sponsor activities, raffles, community days and fundraising.

Behind the scenes

Registrations, communications, photography, uniforms, facilities and committee projects.

Choose a commitment that works

One-off: help at a single event or working bee.
Occasional: assist on selected match days or club activities.
Regular: take on a defined weekly or seasonal role.
Leadership: coordinate an area, project or committee portfolio.

We agree on the role, time commitment, support and point of contact.
Required induction and checks are completed before you start.

Roles involving children may require a valid Working With Children Check and compliance with the club’s safeguarding requirements.
